It is usually difficult to conclude an appropriate outcome when we evaluate the reliability of the existing bridge members under the durability parameter theory, since the problems is brought by complicated calculation and parameters. So we have to use visual programs to solve this problem.In this dissertation, a reliability assessment system (Version 1.0) is designed through Visual Basic 6.0, under the durability calculation model and members reliability theory.Firstly, several durability calculation models about concrete structures are introduced and analyzed. After that, there present suggestions if we use these models in bridge construction, which are concrete carbonation model concrete intensity temporal model corrosion model corrosion steel bar yield intensity descend factor model and corrosion steel bar-concrete co-operating factor model. Secondly, section resistance probability models based on durability damage are deduced according to the members bearing capacity calculation formula in the JTG/D62-2004 specification. Lastly, reliability assessment system about bridge members is designed, using Visual Basic 6.0.Its functions include durability parameter calculation structure resistance calculation load action effect calculation and reliability index calculation. And the numerical example shows that this program is accurate.
