The combined consolidation technology including low-energy dynamic consolidation and dewatering has integrated two construction technical characteristics, the dynamic consolidation and the dewatering. It makes the soil consolidation mechanism combine effectively by using the methods of dynamic consolidation which consolidate the soil through dynamic vibration and dewatering which make vacuum and let the underground water level down. It makes use of the vacuum negative pressure by means of dewatering to accelerate of the dissipation of the larger excessive pore pressures in the process of dynamic consolidation. So it is a new combined consolidation technique, but its research and application is in the stage of juvenility. It lacks systematic and widely research. So it results in the mechanism and theory immature.Based on the formers' studies and the engineering background of dynamic compaction experimentation national highway 220 from Binzhou to Jinan arterial highway foundation, penman systematically research the mechanism of combined consolidation technology, change law of the soil after dynamic consolidation, choosing dynamic compaction parameters and construction technology ect. And some beneficial conclusions have been gained. These conclusions may conduct engineering practice. The following studies are presented in this paper:1 .Based on the formers' studies, put forward the treatment mechanism of treating saturated soil by low-energy dynamic consolidation method combined with dewatering. These may be regarded as theoretical groundwork of deep research afterward.2.Through the spot monitoring data of dynamic compaction experimentation, do research on the change law of the underground water level and excessive pore pressures through the whole consolidating process. The advantages of combined consolidation technology have been validated by way of analyzing the results of dynamic penetration test, static load test and standard penetration test.3. Via laboratory test, it has been analyzed by contrast that the mechanics indexes on the foundation soil before and after the combined consolidation technology treatment. The feasibility and validity of this kind of consolidation technology has been validated meanwhile. And technical parameters used for instructing constructions have been gained. The indexes for controlling constructions have been put forward. And those can provide gist for the theory study and calculation analysis of the combined consolidation technology.4.
