Capacitance Tomography System Experimental Research

Electrical Capacitance Tomography is a new generation of process parameters measuring technology, it has the good prospect of electrical capacitance tomography applied to process monitoring and control. The electrical capacitance tomography system was improved in this paper, A new method to design electrode capacitance sensor was applied, a electrical capacitance tomography data acquisition system was improved, and then, The old methods for electrical capacitance tomography was taken place by radial basis function neural network. for electrical capacitance tomography. The ECT image reconstruction method based on radial basis function neural network was designed to train, testing and image reconstruction in this paper. Experimental results illustrate that the new method to design electrode capacitance sensor and the new image reconstruction method are valid to enhance the natural capacity of electrical capacitance tomography system.
