In order to provide a high performance test bench for some kind high speed tracked vehicle power-shift steering transmission device, this thesis focus on the research and development of a vehicle integrated transmission test system. Based on the test platform, extended hardware in-the-loop simulation (HILS) system can be developed and shifting strategy can be optimized.A steering transmission test system architecture with the concept of networked control is proposed, based on the distributed measurement and control of the networks. All functions of subsystems including oil-supply, power driving and loading, data acquisition and gear-shifting control is integrated seamlessly by using the powerful distributed control system (DCS) as a main platform.The key task of the system is to make every subsystem or equipment available, as well as the real-time data sharing. The realization method of field control with PLC and remote supervision and control with DCS is introduced in detail. Then a protocol conversion application between the TCP/IP and the MODBUS is developed. Combined with the time-delay problems of networked control system and the physical circumstances of the test system, a simplified model and a method for PID controller parameters'stable boundary calculation are discussed and an example study is simulated.At last, the on-line operating test shows that the networked control based vehicle integrated transmission test system works well both on network communication and control strategy, which can be used effectively for general test and performance analysis of power-shift steering transmission.
