The future trend of avionic equipment is to be miniaturized and lightweighted, andthe critical demand is to be applying the new designed electronic equipment without thevibration isolator. This paper presents the research result on the dynamic characteristicanalysis and measurement on an avionic device, the vibration-induced impact effect onthese components of the avionic device was also studied. Finally, the vibration controlfor the device was described.Based on the structure and working situation of the avionic device, the theroticalanalysis and experiamental testing ware done to obtain the dynamic characteristic of thedevice, the boundary condition and working condition are two critical issues that shouldbe studied in the analysisThe crystal oscillator is one of the most important components in the avionicdevice. The vibration-indcued problem of the crystal oscillator was easied to cause thefatigue and failure to the entire device. One method was proposed to analyevibration-induced phase noise of crystal oscillator, the parameter based on the phasenoise has relationship with the vibration characteristics of the crystal oscillator, andsuch relationship was described in detail in the paper. After the dynamic characteristic of the avionic device was studied, the optimaldesign and the structural improvement were also done, the passive damper was designed. The damping effect of the relatal module was measured and analysised layout of thecomponents as well as boundary condition was optimizedThe results of this paper can be valuable in practice for the vibration control of theimportant components and modules, and be beneficial to the new design andmodification of the avionic device.
