In this paper, the researchs on Solid Ducted Ramjet (SDR) inner flowfield with swirling injection were done and the applications of the swirl injection in SDR were explored.The turbulence reacting flowfield of secondary combustion chamber with side air-inlet mode was simulated in the same boundary conditions. The results showed that the combustion efficiency and ramjet performance were higher in swirl case than that in no-swirl case; The combustion efficiency and thrust were improved with the increasing of swirl intensity until they achieved maximum on a certain swirl number; The backflow intensity in dome would increase with the increasing of swirl number.The turbulence reacting flowfield of secondary combustion chamber with central air-inlet mode was simulated in non-swirl, co-swirl and counter-swirl. The results showed that the combustion efficiency and temperature in co-swirl and counter-swirl cases were higher than that of no-swirl case; compared the co-swirl case and counter-swirl case, the former was a litter better than the latter.The turbulence reacting flowfield of secondary combustion chamber with central air-inlet mode was simulated in the same boundary conditions. The results showed that there was litter improvement of ramjet performance when the air injection closed to the wall.
