The mechanical system synchronization control is an organic synthesis about the mechanical technology, the electric power electronic technology and the information technology, emerging inter discipline comprehensive science and technology. It relates closely with the correlation technology development in together. The main controlled member is an electric motor, and the primary control parameter is the displacement, the speed and the phase. The foundation of the multi-unit synchronization control system is the electric motor velocity modulation technology. Along with the technology of the frequency conversion velocity modulation rapid development, it is used that the frequency changer (Variable Voltage and Variable Frequency, VVVF) actuates the motor in practice. This article studied the question about the speed control and the tension control of the multi-units synchronization control system.This article analyzed the factors that have affected the transmission system synchronization movement in the dying mangle synchronization control system. Besides the electric motor rotational speed change each unit, the change of the fabric tension can cause the system detuning similarly. Also it must be considered that is the volume diameter change in the coiling unit regarding the system influence. So there is not only the speed control system, but also the tension closed loop control system and the volume diameter compensation control so on in this control system. This article has carried on the analysis regarding the electric motor velocity modulation principle according to frequency conversion. Meanwhile it takes the coiling unit as the example to explain that the fabric tension forms principle, and form mathematical model.Otherwise this article presents the industrial flow about the dying mangle, designs and analyzes a three-unit synchronic system. In this system, PLC is a controller, VLT2800 controlled by PLC modulate the electronic motor velocity. The tension sensor and the transmitting instrument construct tension closed-loop control, it make the tension invariable. In control strategy this article selects a brain power PI controller which has the alterable parameters, and it include the compensation control according to the change of the volume diameter. Experiment result indicates that the control system has better robust.
