Dynamic Railway Scale (abbr. DRS) is an electronic apparatus that weigh railway freight on the move. For ensuring the accuracy of dynamic railway scale, the implementation of calibration ought to be involved during the using of railway scale. This thesis presents program design and specific implementation of the large tonnage dynamic railway scale and automatic calibration system, which includes the following:1. It, through analyzing the components and weighing theory of dynamic railway scale, designs the two-platform scale using whole vehicle measuring methods, which can be converted between dynamic and static status according to the demand.2. It also designs the special force transmission device and new scale structure for the calibration system, which can press the railway scale in the pit under the railway scale instead of the traditional method from the above, so that the system could sample the source of power as the standard load for the system.3. The calibration system employs the calibration design that first takes static calibration, then sets dynamic parameters based on static ones, and finally calibrates the railway scale by comparing the static and dynamic testing results.4. The random online calibration function is realized by employing the system integration technology, such as computer automatic control technique, Labview and etc. When executing automatic calibration, the railway needs not to be closed. What should be done is to unload the calibration system within the control room before the passage of trains. Obviously, the calibration process would not influence the run of railway and weighing process.5. Based on the work above, the author has applied three practical innovative patents, i.e., railway scale structure, calibration device, and automatic calibration system.Normal calibration method of large tonnage railway scale always leads to two main problems: too much investment and interfering the regular producing schedule. My project not only solves the two problems, but improves its reliability, accuracy and reduces its cost as well. The project will give support for the execution of this system within the railway scale dealing with the trade clearing. In addition, it also satisfies the enterprises' need for the input and output, cost accounting and trade settlement.
