Electric heating-tube is the normal elements to be used in the electric oven. The popular elements being used widely are metal electric heating-tube, quartz heating-tube and halogen heating-tube. Normally, the structure of the oven in which the said 3 types of heating-tube being used is that the heating-tube is mounted in a closed cavity, or the heating-tube is mounted in a opened container and a rack or grill-board is placed over the heating-tube. For the above oven, the heating energy is transferred to the food mainly depends on heat exchange and heat convection. However, for heat exchange and convection, there is much heating wastage. For the carbon-fibre tube, being electrified, most of the electric energy can be transformed into the heating energy in type of infrared ray. Compared with heat exchange and heat convection, heat radiation gains the advantage of efficiency, and the heat energy can be transferred to food faster and more directly.In this thesis, being electrified, the characters of the carbon-fibre tube can transform the electric energy into infrared ray have been analyzed. Then the new structure of the new type of oven have being explored and the suitable material have been discussed.The main results are as follows:1.The theory of the infrared ray heating is discussed.2.The heating characters of the carbon-fibre tube is investigated in detail.3.The reflecting structure of the oven with high efficiency is investigated and designed in detail.4.The reflecting character of some types of normally being used metal is discussed.Adopting carbon-fibre tube as heating element in oven to heat food, he innovative design of top-down heating power design, bottom reflect plate are the first design in the trade, and tests prove that better performance could be attained.
