In recent years, harmonic pollution in marine electric network has become more and more serious due to the widespread application of power electronic equipments to ships. It directly affects ship security and efficiency of sailing. Reducing harmonic pollution and enhancing power factor are methods having considerable energy saving benefits, avoiding the danger of collapse of electric network, and reducing disturbance to ship communication system, navigation system and rescue equipments for shipwreck. This approach at present urges the development of ships in the direction of large-scale, energy saved, economical and better for environmental protection. It also can speed up the development advancement of our country from a shipbuilding great nation to a shipbuilding powerful nation. The model of harmonic source in marine electric network is researching object in this dissertation. Through analyzing the harmonics, a mixed harmonic suppression system composed of a mixed Series APF and an APFCC is designed. Then the system is simulated in the Matlab/Simulink software and the Etap software. This dissertation is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter the research background, the significance and the development of relative technology in the world at present are introduced. In the second chapter harmonics in marine electric network are analyzed in the Etap software, the model of harmonic source is established, and then the plan on the harmonic suppression to it is proposed. In the third and the fourth chapters the design and the establishment of simulation model of a mixed Series APF and an APFCC are elaborated respectively, including the design of the Passive Power Filter (PPF), and the design of the control system of the Series APF and the APFCC. In the fifth chapter the whole harmonic suppression system is simulated. The simulation results show that the system designed in the...
