Protection Simulation has extensive application in power system, which is an important module of DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator). It can be used for verification of Protection Setting programs and research on protection device. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of the two main simulation methods 'Logical judgement' and 'Valuable Judgement' are compared, and a Model-Piecing Together method is developed to implement the Valuable Judgement Theory.The Model-Piecing Together method includes modeling and calculation for protection. Modeling is based on an extensible function library, and the protection simulation is implemented by uniform function encapsulation and Object-Oriented technology. This method is universal and efficient, and can be applied for DTS and Protection Setting Verify, even the Transient Simulation and Dynamic Simulation. DLL, Directed Graph Search and Object-Oriented technology are used in the development of the programe.In this paper, four models are modeled using the Protection Modeling Program, including Interphase Distance Protection, Ground Distance Protection, Zero Sequence Overcurrent protection and Curent-Voltage Protection. These four models are tested on a 110KV network, the result demonstrates that the method is effective and feasible and flexible to do with various characteristic of protection model. This Protection Modeling Method is suitable for DTS and Protection Setting Verification.Inverse Time elements are applicated abroad in enterprises and power plants, but it is difficult to coordinate and set the Inverse Time elements. In this paper, the concepts of Overcurrent Relay are introduced, including Inverse Time Relay, Transformer Overload Curve and Motor-Start Curve. And the Overcurrent Coordination Program is developed according to the demand of the coordination of Inverse Time elements, which can implement Coordinationg-Calculation and Graph Curve Display conveniently. Through a small auxiliary power system, the Overcurrent Coordination Progam is introduced.
