Due to reflecting the integrated influence of the intensity, the characteristic of frequency spectrum and the seismic duration to the structural damage better, the analytic method of structural seismic energy response is increasingly attached importance to the international seismic engineering research, and regarded as development tendency in structural seismic design theory. The correlative domestic researches still focus on the aspect of building structure. Correspondingly, the research on the anti-seismic of bridge is less. The coherent articles were published about the energy analysis of the seismic response of continuous beam bridge which considered the ductility and seism-isolation have not been researched both in domestic and abroad. This study did some preliminary research and discussion about the seismic response of the seism-isolated continuous beam bridge which considered ductility in the energy method, and some valuable results were acquired.The main works of this study could be summarized as follows:1.On the basis of building the system equation of energy which according to the conservation of energy, studying the influencing rules of the three factors of the earthquake and the main dynamical parameters of the bridge system between the seismic imported energy and the distribution.2.Add a simulated plastic hinge to the pier of the bridge structures which have equipped the LRB when the pier reached it's subdued moment. Then contrasted the response with the pier of the bridge structures which just have equipped the LRB. Analyzed the anti-seismic capability of the LRB bridge which considered the plastic hinge. Intended to get the anti-seismic capability of the LRB bridge which considered the plastic hinge.3.Analyzed the influence of the characteristic of frequency spectrum on the seismic responses of the bridge structures which have equipped the LRB. Got some influencing rules and calculated the correlative coefficient between the imported energy of the earthquake and the displacement of the top of abutment. To validate the feasibility of the anti-seismic design of continuous beam bridge using the energy method.
