Composite material is used widely in aerial field because of its advantages of high strength, high stiffness. Especially in the fourth-generation fighter Composite material is frequently taken into use in order to improve life time of the plane. Comparing to other types of joints, mechanical joint is stable in connecting and convenient in process. Nowadays the chief load-bearing parts in an aircraft are almost connected by mechanical joints, and the interference-fit should be used more and more. The research on the performance of joints is still valuable by FEM.This article was based on the project "research on the joints that hold long life time and high quality". The aim of this thesis was to research the effect of single-side interference-fit of pulling bolt in composite connecting. The technology of mechanical-joint composite laminate has been systemically studied in this paper. And then through the help of ANSYS, the status of strain and stress were derived as reference to the real condition.First, the composite laminate and mechanical-joint were introduced. The general situation of research in this field all over the world was showed out. Above this, the topic of this article was up to taken, and then the ANSYS software was used to make a further analysis on the topic.Second, the process of joint connect was studied in details. The assembly steps and the mechanism were discussed then. The numerical model can be produced by these introductions. ___As concerned about the analysis process with ANSYS in this article, the 3D-FEM-analysis of static stress distribution on the composite material joint has been studied. Most of conditions in the joints were considered during the analysis, such as friction, composite feature, contact, pre-loading and restraint. The result shows good coincidence with real detection. Then, the dynamic stress distribution was taken into account. The difficulties were discussed, and some accesses to the issue were founded. Finally, the summary of this article was taken based on these researches all above, and a perspective was made for further study.
