Plasma Diagnostics And Magnetically Enhanced Microwave Plasma Generator Design For Stealth Radar Cabin

Plasma stealth is one of the technologies of disturbing enemy's radar exploration using plasma. It is a new way to carry out radar stealth and is the newest development of the technologies of radar stealth. Diagnosis of plasma and manufacture of the plasma production are two key technologies of the technologies of plasma stealth. Because radar exploration is still the primary way in the most country's aerial defense system, besides of the airplanes, it's emergency for missile to shelter to radar exploration.The stealth theory of plasma in missile radar-dome is researched with theoretical computation and experiment analysis in this paper. Based on basic theory and equipment, we designed the radar-dome's stealth scheme using the way of plane's stealth. Here, we diagnosed the electron density of plasma inside the simulacrum of the radar-dome and did research on improving the capability of the magnetic microwave plasma production.We finished the choice, design and diagnoses of the system of the electron density of plasma inside the simulacrum of the radar-dome. We got conclusion that: when pressure is between 3-6Pa, the output power of microwave plasma generator is less than 60W, the argon gas with the scope of 42-210mg/s mass flow rate will be ionized under the vacuum condition, and the electron density in the plasma plume will be 10¹⁵-10¹⁶/m3.We discussed the relation of the plasma absorption, electromagnetic wave effect and magnetic field in addition of the production. We completed production's design, machining and experiment research of the capability on start-up and steady-going working. We found that: magnetic field in addition could certainly improve the capability of the production a certain extent. Production with column magnet inside can improve the capability on start-up. Production with rat race magnet can decrease reflect power on steady-going working, can increase the efficiency.
