Mobile-style composite material pressure vessel with its light weight, high ratio of volume to weight, high intension and the merit of only leakage not bursting, has been gradually used into the field of military and industry. The security evaluation and the building of reasonable mechanical model of composite pressure vessel are paid attention to by users and scholars. This paper is to build a reasonable mechanical model, with which get the stress distribution of the cylinder, and calculate the pretension exerted by the tensile force when winding the carbon fibre filament on the cylinder. The contents are as follow:Based on the Laminated Plate Theory, take the carbon fibre layers as Laminated Plate, build the mechanical model of cylinder, get the direct formula of cylinder. At the same time seek after another formula by building another model assumed the strain along the radial continuous.The tensile force of carbon fibre filament exerted when winding has great influence on the cylinder of composite pressure vessel. Though simplifying the structure, obtain the computation formula of pretension. By optimizing the distribution of pretension for every carbon fiber wound layer, it obtains a batch of reasonable wound pretension at last, which makes the stresses of liner be lower, while the stresses of carbon fiber be more uniformity.Make programme with computer, simply the complicated matrix computation. In the programme, adopt the tensile force and the winding angle can easily make the stresses of cylinder reach to the requirement. At last, give a computation example with the programme.
