The author have been developed the analysis of soil texture characteristic and the investigation of road state in the Yellow River alluvial plain region, and completed the silty soil pellet analytical test, the relative density test, the boundary moisture test, the standard compaction test, compaction test of changing work, compression test, jetting piling, etc. Through the above investigations and the achievement analysis, the computation and the mechanism research, it's found that in the Yellow River area the ground water level is high, the soil moisture content is large, the ground bearing pressure is low, the soil stability is bad, the ground consolidated time is long, after construction settling is close and even surpasses the standard value. Regarding this, it's difficult to decide how to construct. If processing the bottom, the cost will be high and the time will be long, and it's not economic; If not processing this , after construction settling will bring some diseases.Through the synthetic study of present roadbed and the road surface correlation standard,light of the actual situation in shandong province highway construction,the research (Technology of highway bituminous pavement the staged Construction) propose a new procedure that in the highway construction in the Yellow River alluviative plain area, under the generic condition, it does not make reinforcement processing to the ground, controls strictly with the roadbed and the intermediate layer construction quality, opens the traffic after the intermediate layer completed, then implements the surface layer when the base is stable after the operation lasted certain ages.This topic main researchs and solutes the related technical question about the new procedure, including: the soil texture characteristic analysis of the Yellow River alluvial plain region;the project characteristic research of low liquid limit silty soil;the ground settling computation analysis of the Yellow River alluvial plain region; the technology of highway bituminous pavement the staged construction; the related question and processing measure of the bituminous pavement the staged construction.This research have proven the feasibility of implementation the staged technical, proposed matters needing attention during the first and the second stage of construction, been clear about the processing measure of the related questions, determined the concrete time of the second phase implementation through the theoretical calculation and the field observation, and achieved the function that this research results can instruct project practice.After this topic studied successfully,it can be widely applied to the highway construction in the Yellow River alluviation plain area,simultaneously it also may be applied to the area where the ground is not good in the south, so the application prospect will be bright.
