Aeromagnetic gradiometer survey system is a technique which have application potential and wide application prospect. The system increasingly is used in the fields of geological exploration, geophysical prospecting, mineral exploration, military magnetic-detected, and so on. With the rapid development of electronics and microprocessor technologies, three major development trends in the aeromagnetic gradiometer survey system, including digitalization, miniaturization and intelligentize, have become clear. As a core component of the aeromagnetic survey system, He~4 optically-pumped magnetometer affects the performance of the aeromagnetic gradiometer survey system. With the development of the system's digitalization, miniaturization and intelligentize, the analogue optically-pumped magnetometer measurement system can't meet the actual needs. Digital reformation of original optical pumping magnetometer is a trend.This paper introduces the overall structure of aeromagnetic gradiometer survey system and the principle of magnetometers that are used in the system. In this paper, the hardware and software design of the track type optically-pumped magnetometer is been detailed introduced. Firstly, this paper introduces the block diagram of the aeromagnetic gradiometer survey system. Base on the block diagram, I analyze the working principles of the optically-pumped magnetometer, fluxgate magnetometer and proton magnetometer. In the chapter of the system's working principle, I introduce the principles of gradient survey with math methods. Finally, I introduce the hardware and software design of the He4 optically-pumped magnetometer. I also introduce a graphics user interface support system (MiniGUI) based on host computer. Than I analyze the data which is acquired from the optically-pumping magnetometer's data acquisition system.
