The rapid development of infrastructure construction in our country such as highway, railroad, water conservation, as well as mine all involves slope cutting, which cause landslide disaster more and more severe, and our country invests large amount fund every year on cutting down the loss which landslide creates. Since long ago, people have devoted to the research on landslide disaster monitor and forecast, and accumulated a lot of experience. At present, landslide researches focus on realizing real-time effective monitor with new technology and method.Based on the slope near the exit of Qinqlong Tunnel, the research on stability-analysis method and monitor-forecasting technology to the accumulative stratum landslide is done according to the study topic of Ministry Of Communications "The study of monitor and forecast technology on western highway geological disaster". The main research contents are as follows:(1) The factor of safety is calculated and the stability of the slope near the exit of Qinqlong Tunnel is evaluated, with the application of limiting equilibrium theory;(2) With the elastic-plastic plane strain model and Druck-Prager yieldance criterion, numerical simulation analyses are done to compare to the result based on the limiting equilibrium theory, so the latent landslide body boundary is determined;(3) Common monitor plan is designed based on actual situation of the slope. Further more, automatic monitor experiment are done, succeeding in 24-hours continuously monitor and wireless long-distance data transmission;(4) The monitor data is processed and analyzed, and then the position of latent slip plane, slide body thickness and other important information is determined. The present situation and the development tendency of the slope are evaluated;(5) The landslide forecast criterion is put forward according to the information obtained.
