Torque motor is a kind of especial motor that is combined of servo motor and drivingmotor. It has many virtues, including fast reaction, little torque and rotate speedfluctuating, excellent mechanical and adjustive characteristic, and it can steadily move inlow speed even in stifled revolution. So it is widely applied in location and low-speedservo system as a sort of executive element.A certain of AC torque motor is studied in this article, which is applied inlong-distance controlling and unmanned performance system. Mainly research is made ofnext several aspects. Firstly, principle, configuration, and essential characteristic oftorque motors is described. Secondly, torque motors can not stop running immediatelybecause of inertia, when power supply is shut off suddenly. Thus it will make droveobject stop at stochastic position, even it can result in accident and damage. Based onthese factors, I design a kind of location protecting equipment which is applied insuddenly no-electricity circumstance. Simultaneous I analyze and calculate the feasibilityof the equipment. Thirdly, I analyze and calculate the transition procession when torquemotor is used in practical engineering. Accordingly of this, I educe the dynamic equation.Fourthly, based on the dynamic equation, I program and emulate the torque motor'srunning processing in use of MATLAB. On top of these emulation graphics, I analyze anddraw the conclusion of the torque motor at all kinds of states.
