A accurate trajectory survey radar, which is referred by this paper, is the first type of large mobile Optical-feed Phase Array trajectory survey radar in China. This radar can be used in battle and shooting range measure, and it has very high accuracy of survey and good flexibility. So the radar put forward a very high request to the accuracy of the system structure. The precision of the radar's system structure, which is one important part of the radar's survey accuracy, has the great effect on the survey accuracy, and it can be affected by many kinds of errors. So the precision of the radar's system structure must be analyzed and designed reasonably.This paper analyzes the radar's system structure precision and does the computer simulation to analyze the distortions of the antenna platform that is the primary error of the radar's system structure. In this paper, all the error sources, which influence the system structure accuracy, are found out, and all the errors of the system structure are distributed by the methods of extremum principle and statistic. Based on these jobs, the accuracy design targets that must be performed by each part of the radar's structure system are pointed out.Aim at the platform of the antenna, this paper elaborates the basic principle and the finite element calculation modeling method which be used for the analyses to the platform structure distortion, and sets up the finite element calculation model of antenna platform. Then by using the finite element software—I-deas, the trends of the platform structure distortion under each work condition is obtained, the weakness of the design is found out, and design is modified according to these analysis.The successful development of this radar will fill up the local blank of the Optical-feed Phase Array radar field in China. It has an obvious instruction function to the same kind of the radar that will be developed in the future in China. The method of analysis to the radar's structure accuracy and the finite element analysis for the platform that is described in this paper can be used for the reference to other mobile radar when their system structure will be designed and analyzed.
