| DC/DC converter is used very popularly in the industry and our daily life. All kinds of switching power supplies have became more and more important. The important thing in the research of the switching power supply is to improve power density of the switching power supply. But the power density's improving has some conflicts with the efficiency of the switching power supply. This article introduces a new kind of switching power supply with high efficiency and high power density.PWM control mode is typically used in switching power supply. In the traditional PWM control mode, power components work in the hard-switching mode, sustains great stress, and the switching loss is very large. Class e soft-switching circuit can decrease the switching loss, restrain the EMI, and can increase the switch frequency. So the class e soft-switching circuit can make the power supply smaller, lighter, higher efficiency, and higher frequency. This paper put forward a class E~2 DC/DC converter with isolation in the foundation of the traditional class e inverter and rectifier.This article firstly introduces the operating principle of the traditional class e inverter and rectifier. In this foundation, the paper puts forward the new circuit and analyses the structure, operating principle and the character of the new circuit. Based on this structure, the paper designs a DC/DC converter. This DC/DC converter requires three phase input and 10kW output. The paper gives the parameters of the system and validates it by simulation assistance. At the same time, the paper designs the controlling circuit of this power supply. In the end, the paper also shows the experiment results.In this circuit, the transformer not only has the isolation function, but also the transformer's primary winding take part in the resonance. The designation of high frequency transformer should not only take the turn number, the magnetic corn's effective area and the air gap into consideration, but also should take the distribution parameter into consideration. This paper shows the design process of the high frequency transformer.In this circuit power components' voltage is high, so this system adopts IGBT serial usage, but in the practice the voltage unbalance cause the serial IGBTs to damage. In the end of the paper, a simple voltage-sharing circuit is designed for this E~2 DC/DC converter. |
