The heat transfer and thermal stress have many disadvantageous effects on gunlaunching. In this dissertation, heat transfer and thermal stress have been studied based onthe 155mm gun in order to assess the heat and stress effect on launching safty. The mainwork include: The parameters such as temperature have been numerical simulated on theassumption that two-phase ballistic flow as the core. Developing the boundary layerequation and the one-dimensional thermal conduction equation of barrel. The convectiveexchange coefficient of different boundary layer heat transfer simplified models have beencalculated. The heat states and thermoelasticity of barrel during the single round firing andcontinuous rounds firing have been studied by the finit difference method and finite softconsidering the core flow, heat tranfer in boundary layer as well as heat conduction ofbarrel. This paper gives great help for gun safty during launching.
