The control methods of MPPT and inverter are discussed and studiedin detail based on this circuit. The whole control of system is implementedbased on DSP TMS320LF2407A. Experimental results show the inverter canwork reliable under different environment.1. In the first part of this paper, the characteristic of solar cell isanalyzed in detail. The model of solar cell is built is Pspice softwareaccording to the I-V equation of solar cell. The model can simulateany power photovoltaic array and can be used in PV power generationsystem to simulate real PV characteristics. Some MPPT control methodsare studied and the two-mode MPPT control is applied for the PVgrid-connected generation system2. In the second part of this paper, a two stage DC-DC-AC inverter isdesigned according to the characteristics of 1KW PV array. The invertercan work at stand-alone mode and the grid-connected mode according tothe choice of user. To satisfy the inverter output power, the instantvoltage control method is used in stand-alone mode and the instantcurrent control method is used in the grid-connected mode.3. In the third of this paper, the control of the above inverter isimplemented based on the DSP TMS320LF2407A based on the inverter design.Experimental result shows the inverter can work reliable at stand-alonemode and grid-connected mode.4.
