Since 1990s, with the rapid development of material science and MEMS, a great interest begins to focus in small energy or micro energy source. Micro Thermophotovoltaic (MTPV) is a combo that it is integrated by micro system and energy source. Because the expectant energy density is 10 to 100 times as the best cell, so people give more and more attention on it. Now the research of the MTPV is in the initial stage, its energy density gotten is still very lower. In this dissertation three parts in the system is mainly presented: solar cell, insulated pipe and system control.Firstly, the article presents the performance of MTPV cell made in the world and the key parameters such as open circuit voltage, short circuit current density, power density. Si, Quantum well, GaSb and GaInAsSb solar cells used in the MTPV are introduced, and the influence of the solar cell temperature on its property is analyzed. We design and improve the structure of the solar cell to make the solar cell woks at the best state. In the simulation light intensity experiment, the relation between light source intensity and parameters of solar cell is obtained, which gives lots of valuable data for the upper real light intensity experiment. For H2/O2 mixed combustion in the SiC combustion chamber, the performance of the solar cell and the relation between the solar cell and the temperature of SiC combustion chamber, the flux of the combustion gas and the light intensity is obtainedSecondly, we present a new quartz glass vacuum insulated pipe. To improve system efficiency, one of the key problems is to decreases the temperature of the solar cell, because the performance of the solar cell is in inverse ratio with the temperature of the solar cell. To satisfy the requirement, the insulated pipe can be used. The insulated pipes currently used are not only with a big size, not euphotic, or the light spectrum transported not appropriate, but also mostly with a single layer which is anti-vacuum that has a worse heat insulation effect. So they can not satisfy the special requirement in the MTPV. We design a new insulated pipe that it has a small size, a high transmission, high heat insulation and the optional special spectrum. The temperature distributing of the insulated pipe and the system is simulated based on Ansys software. We get the insulatation result of the insulated pipe and the. The effect of the insulated pipe and coated filter on the system is approved by the H2/O2 mixed combustion experiment in the SiC combustion chamber.Finally, we present the performance of combustion tube. The relationship between Voc(voltage open circuit), the out temperature of combustion tube C and the flow is analyzed. Meanwhile the relationship between Voc(voltage open circuit) and the flow rate is also analyzed.
