Retarder is a Kind of Mechanical Device which is Widely Used in Automobile, Machine Tool, Radar and Observation System in Astronomy ,as well as in other Fields .With Social and Economical Development, Now there is a Tendency that the Size of Retarder Gets Smaller and Smaller, and its Capacity Gets Greater and Greater. This may Cause a Problem that Retarder can't Emit Heat Poduced in Operation Fully. Thus it won't Work Well. So Retarder's Heat-power is Very Important for People to Design, Produce and Use Retarder.This Article Makes a Full Study of the Question of Retarder's Heat-power. Then it Developes a System which Measures the Instantaneous Value of Revs, Torque, Power and Temperature of Retarder Dynamically, and Analyses its Dynamical Quality. By Means of the System this Article Studies the Relation between Temperature and Retarder's Heat-power. This Study Gives a New Technical Method for People to Observe and Study the Dynamic Quality of Retarder's Heat-power, and Offers People a New Way to Get the Allowable Value of Retarder's Heat-power. It is Helpful in Improving Retarder's Quality and Making the Best Use of Retarder's Capacity.
