This thesis presents ADS subcritical experimental assembly "Venus-1#",analyses the space-time characteristic of neutron flux density of the assembly, develops elementarily the experimental study of prompt neutron flux density decay characteristic with time at different positions in the reactor core by using the data acquisition and analysis system ,some constructive fruits are obtained.This thesis is divided into seven chapters:Chapter 1 presents the key problem of nuclear energy sustainable development and accelerator driven subcritical nuclear system, the source of the program, significance of subject choice, studied content and its application. Chapter 2 presents the progress of the ADS subcritical reactor physics study ,mainly including the basic theory of the ADS subcritical reactor and the progress of the ADS subcritical reactor physics study in the world ,as well as the progress of the ADS study in our country. Chapter 3 presents the ADS subcritical neutronics and the space-time characteristic of neutron flux density,expounds the necessity to develop the ADS subcritical neutronics study and several important neutronics basic concepts, describes the design project of the subcritical experimental assembly "Venus-1#" and the configuration and the function of the built assembly,analyses in detail the space-time characteristic of the "Venus- 1#",raises the safety problems that the engineering ADS system will bring. Chapter 4 presents the experiment of the space-time characteristic of neutron flux density of the "Venus -1#", including the experiment study object and plan and the pulse neutron source method,which is a most direct method to measure the prompt neutron decay constant, and the experiment theory ,experiment condition and experiment course of the experiment on the neutron flux density space-time characteristic.Chapter 5 presents the development and application of the data acquisition and analysis system, including the determination of the system design project and the performance indicator of every part of the system,as well as the testing for the performance of the parts. Also presents the problems during the debugging of the system and the solutions. Chapter 6 presents the experiment data processing and analyse,including the experiment data characteristic and the choice of data processing soft, the explanation of the data processing result and decay curve. Chapter 7 is summary.For the first time,the neutron flux density decay characteristic with time at different positions in the "Venus-1#" reactor core is got elementarily by experiment in the thesis, which will provides experimental gist for developing 3-D ADS subcritical neutronics study and designing,running and controlling engineering ADS system.
