This project roots in the improvement program of Shandong University to the experimental instrument in School of Pharmacy. How to carry out real-time data collection and monitoring in the research process of medicament preparation is not only a bottleneck problem in industrial pharmacy study, but also a barrier to international academic exchange and export of domestic medicine. This project is just the conquering work aiming at the difficult problems that need urgently solved in medicament trial production.In this paper a mini experimental jetting coater using PLC control technology is designed and fabricated based on the fluidized-bed spray granulation techniques. This jetting coater performs as spray granulator, coater, and drier. It not only bears the functions of mixing, granulating, drying and coating, but also implements PLC control and PC visible operation, which is up to the GMP standard and meets the demands of wide adaptability, flexible manipulation, and convenient control in experiments.Targeting the above problems, the following aspects will be studied:1. Through data collection and market investigation, briefly understand the current research and domestic and foreign fabrication status of experimental jetting coater, demonstrate the feasibility of this project and preliminarily make a design plan.2. Based on in-depth study of correlated theories of experimental jetting coater and GPM standard, carry out the overall design of experimental jetting coater, which consists of structure design and control system design.3. Make use of human-machine engineering and advanced manufacturing technology, carry on design and fabrication of experimental jetting coater from the whole to assembly and parts. According to the system design, carry on each task till fixing and debugging are finished.4. According to the functions of control system, after systematically analyzing each control scheme, confirm the control system in which PLC is the center and PC is the real-time monitor. Use the configuration software as platform and exploitation environment at the monitoring level in the automatic control system. Prepare PLC program and configuration program by using respective software, and test the program.
