With the Embedded system used more and more widely, which is greater influence in daily life. The Soil Analyzer is a comprehensive measurement instrument, which include photoelectric colorimetric analysis, the electrode potential analysis and analysis of conductance. It could not only test the soil nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, organic matter content accurately, but also the Soil pH and salinity measurements. The Analyzer could guide fertilization with soil situation and crops, which used very wide in agriculture and also very important experimental tools for agriculture school.The paper regards the design and development of new Soil Analyzer under the KYL as a background. Keep the pre-apparatus's advantage, design new software and update hardware sampling module. The development is base on improve sampling speed and measuring time consistent. With embedded C develops system, optimize measure and expert system operating processes, improve system's stability and architecture, which made the system expansion and cutting easily. The system provides friendly operation interface.The system uses double verification; the core module was verified on PC for Logic correctness and on board for Functional, timing, and other parts. Simulating the hardware for system and unit tests development, which could savings experimental cost, let unit test development easily and improve speed of testing and system developing.The Soil Analyzer can run steady and satisfy the demand of customers on operation and measuring speed. After pass more testing, the product would be launched.
