| Car-following model is an important part of the traffic flow theory. It is important for the study of traffic safety, transportation management, capability of road transportation and service level. As one of the two basic microscopic traffic models, the car-following model has been researched for half of century. Many scholars established correlative car-following model from many points of view aiming at car-following phenomenon. Although definite anticipative effect is reached, applicability of model is still deficient. The ultimately object of this thesis is to construct a car-following model which can well and truly reflect the traffic flow character.First, this paper has reviewed historical models on car following, and analyzed in more detail the AP (action point) model, and ameliorated AP model by eliminating its deficiency after considering driver visual change characteristic and behavior threshold model, and build a new car following model, the emphasis of which is the deduction of the acceleration equations by which the following car is subjected. This model proposes that the influence of driver visual change on car following model. Then using computer simulate car following mode, the stability of car-following are extracted by repeated many times experiment. So as to correctly reveal the driver behavior of Car-following. Numerical ranges of the parameter for stability of Car-following system are given.On this basis, do experiment on KMRTDS of Kunming university of science and engineering. According to analyzing and calculating the measure data, calibrate and validate the parameter K of the car simulation mode. This dissertation use graphics antitheses from microcosmic point of view to validate the model. Graphics antitheses compares simulated speed and distance with measured speed and distance. Finally, do relevant car following behavior's analysis for experiment date, and embody different following speed and different following frequency's following behavior under different car following distance.Through the study, the conclusion can be gained that the models build in this paper can afford a feasible and efficient model for the traffic flow study and micro-simulation of road. |
