On line programmable arbitrary waveform generator is one of the important devices for Digitalization of Microfluids.The Micro System Lab of NJUST is now applying the study result of Digitalization of Microfluids to cell microinjection, digitalization of matter transporting and etc. And, in this process, we find that a better arbitrary waveform generator is needed.In this paper, a new arbitrary waveform generator is discussed and designed, based on the study of The Micro System Lab of NJUST. This new arbitrary waveform generator is based on ATmega8535L a high performance micro control unit, which fulfils growing experimental requests.This paper analyses the framework,designs circuits and produces PCB for the new waveform generator. With the control software on PC and micro control unit(MCU) embedded in waveform generator, this new generator can store waves beforehand, produce single periodical waveform ,as well as continued periodical waveform, or as coded and can also change sending waveform between saved waveforms willingly. Experiment indicates that micro array system can integrate this new arbitrary waveform generator well which fulfils application requests.
