It is well known that braking heat-degrading occurs when the vehicle engages braking for a long time, which makes the braking device overheating, and city buses are facing the issue of frequent braking, which leads to the early abrasion of braking pads. In order to solve these kinds of problems, a study on Vehicle's Electrical Braking System with United Control (EBSUC) has been conducted by this thesis in the light of the concept of brake-by-wire. The basic configuration, layout, principle and the united control method are deeply analyzed within this paper. As to the driving condition on the long grade, a research on constant speed control under the application of fuzzy control theory is also done by this thesis. Meanwhile, according to the functional requirement of EBSUC, a concrete design of hardware & software system has been completed. CAN bus, signal sampling and filter, driver circuit, I/O circuit and power unit are mainly related to hardware system. CAN communication, the output of PWM, braking signal sampling & processing, the computation of wheel speed, braking control and constant speed control on the long slope are all shown in software system. A plan for the test bench design of EBSUC is also worked out by this paper, discussing some of the test items and its test methods effectively. At last, The PCB (Printed Circuit Board) has been made in terms of the hardware system. Combining with the software system, the simulated test of PCB was finished, the results of which demonstrate that EBSUC of this thesis can basically meets the function of braking modulation.
