The Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plates (CFRP) strengthening technique of concrete structures has been gradually becoming the focus by the staff who enjoyed the study of it. Strengthening RC structures by CFRP is succeed or not mainly lies on the effect of the bond behavior between the concrete and CFRP. Therefore, to realize the bond performance and its change rule between the advanced composite glass fiber sheet and concrete is very important. This paper focuses on followed contents by performing test and analysis on interface bond while strengthening concrete structure by CFRP.The paper designed a modified beam test specimen, which with the initial depth of crack considered the effects of curve and shear, which is different from the common shear test specimen. The test study the bond behavior of the CFRP adhered to 24 concrete specimens. The influences of the bond length, bond width, bond layer and the initial depth of crack on the bond behavior was investigated, the strain and the local shear bond stress development and distribution in CFRP sheet along the bond length were analyzed, and the failure mechanism of CFRP structures was discussed.Based on the test results, this paper modified the Nakaba model and proposed the local bond stress-slip constitutive model about the CFRP adhered to concrete. The model matches the experimental results well.On the other hand, by utilizing ANSYS finite element method for non-linear finite element analysis and in combinations of reasonable bond-slip constitutive relation and materials constitutive relation, the test specimen was analyzed. The analysis results proved to coincide with the experimental results.
