At present time, the high power rectifying power supply in alkali made industry has such drawbacks as that has not high reliability and no monitor segment, as well as couldn't hold the system operation status and record the data. For this reason, a sort of high power electrolyse rectifying equipment using PLC to control and protect, and digital triggering thyristor and intellective monitor is designedThe main circuit of the equipment adopts inphase inverse parallel connection three phase bridge circuit, via the coarse adjustment on load tap changing transformer and fine adjustment on thyristor rectifier, the rectifying precision of the system is improved. At the same time, the choice request of fast acting fuse in larger electric current system is confirmed by the measure of experiment, which provides experiment basis for choosing parameter of protective device using in this kind of power supply equipment. The high power rectifying power supply machine adopts inphase inverse parallel connection, which can reduce the reactance voltagedrop in transformer secondary winding effectively, and improve output efficiency remarkably, as well as lower the temperature rise of the rectify cabinet.The power supply triggering system adopts FCOG630D large scale digital triggering system produced by ENERPRO of U.S.A., and there have two series trigger as warm standby. The control to rectifying electric current is realized. The triggering system has follow fuctions as synchronous power supply phase locking automatically, soft starting and stopping as well as fault detecting itself. Because the phasic shift (5°-30°) was in small range, the power factor of the system was improved.To the features as high power and large electric current of the electrolyse power supply, the share alike of the current in parallel connection rectifier is analysed detailedly, the coefficient of share alike of the current is measured. The share alike of current measures using in high power electrolyse power supply are discussed and presented.The intellective protect and monitor system using PLC as the core, and industrial control machine as terminal set. All the faults, protect and control signal were input into the PLC and industrial control machine for monitor and control through Profibus standard communication interface. The system can accomplish such functions as data acquisition, process control, alarm, graph data display, andstatistical forms print.This high power rectifying power supply is designed for the ion film caustic soda equipment of Shandong Huayang Pesticide Group. The practical operation status indicated that this high power rectifying power supply can satisfy the request of continuity, reliability, stability and high efficiency in the production of electrolytic chloro alkali of chemical industry. The entire utilance of the rectifying equipment is improved greatly, whereas the working strength and the rate of misoperation of the operation staff is cut down.
