Truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab is a new type of floor structure. It has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, assembly of construction and industrial product, so it is applicable to the steel residential structure system with more and high-rise floors. Steel slab is consistent with the current development trend of the residential floor system, and it will be a promote floor structure.Starting from the floor structure system of steel residential structure, floor forms of steel residential structure system at home and abroad at present were introduced and studied in this paper, and between these floor forms and truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab, a comprehensive comparison was made. Based on the design theories of steel truss, the force skeleton of truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete—steel truss was designed, the form of steel truss was determined. The main parameters, including bar diameter, height of truss, Pin number of supporting truss, section form of truss and so on, which have influence on the behavior of steel bar truss were analyzed. Moreover, grey situation decision-making was used to optimize the selection of steel truss and the optimal form of steel trusses was fixed.The whole structural performance of truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab was studied and internal force analysis and theoretical calculations of the ultimate state and cracking state were done. Cracking moment formula of truss-type reinforced concrete sandwich slab was deduced through two different methods, and a simplified cracking moment formula was proposed. Then these three formulas were analyzed. Combined with the actual project, the theoretical formula and simplified formula of ultimate moment were deduced. Established the finite element model of truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab and calculated the value of finite element analysis of cracking moment and ultimate moment. Then the contrast and verifying between the value of finite element analysis and the value derived of theoretical formula was done. In addition, a more reasonable slab form was got through the analysis of truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab model under bending state.Finally, the performance of truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab project, superimposed slab project, composite slab project and cast-in-place slab project were compared. Through comparison, a conclusion was drawn: steel residential structure with truss-type sandwich reinforced concrete slab floor system has advantages in the aspects of economic cost, loaded behaviors, seismic behaviors and deformation behaviors.
