Analyzing the dynamical performances of bogie and that of the whole vehicle based on multi-body dynamics, is the most effective method that examines the designed products. This article mainly uses SIMPACK software to simulate the dynamic performances of Qinghai-Tibet generator vehicle.Differential equations are established about Qinghai-Tibet generator cars. And then multi-body dynamics models are set up in the article. In the case of five-grade-spectra of lines of American, the article analyses the influence of parameters of primary spring, primary damper, secondary spring, vertical and lateral damper, anti-rolling rod in the case of curve with different radius, gets the riding stability in different velocity and static wheel load reducing rate and coefficient of derailment and lateral force of frame and lateral force of wheel-rail and lateral force of wheel-axle. And it could get the relation among the parameters. Based on that, the parameters are optimized. In the end, it finds primary longitudinal and lateral reasonable locating stiffness, as well as parameters of primary vertical damping, secondary vertical and lateral damping, unloading -velocity of anti-yaw damper.Based on the bogie with optimized parameters, the article analyses the dynamics on whole generator car used in Qinghai-Tibet line .And it calculates the performance of curve-passing, locomotion endurance, running steadiness. The result shows that characteristics of the running steadiness of generator cars within the velocity of 180km/h accord to GB5599-85. Characteristics of running steadiness are first-class and they could meet natural cases of vehicles running.A real model test has been done in the whole-car-dynamic-test-rig, the result showed that dynamic performances meet the demand of 95J01-L. Characteristics of running steadiness are first-class and they can run at the speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
