With the rapid development of our national economy, to meet the demand for higher transportation capability, highway construction has been expanding at a full speed. Therefore, in this situation, there is a higher demand for new crafts, new materials, new technology and new equipments used for construction. As a new type of technology in construction, the move support system(mss)has been more and more widely used.This paper gives a detailed introduction to the main constitution and working theory of the move support system, the main technological parameters for the MSS35-7500 type of the move support system, constructing technology in its application to the construction of continuous box beam, and the know-how on how to control engineering quality in the process of using the move support system. In addition, through the analysis of its application in practical construction, both the advantages and disadvantages of the move support system are summarized, and then some suggestions for further development and future developing direction are provided.First of all, based on the main constitution of the move support system as well as the analysis of the application of the MSS35-7500 type of the move support system to engineering practice, the working theory and functions of the main parts as well as the main technological parameters for the MSS35-7500 type of the move support system and the calculation of the degree of reeling are introduced.Second, the constructing technology of the move support system including the constructing process and things you need to pay attention to are detailed concerning various aspects ranging from how to assemble the system in the preparatory stage, how to fold, move the brackets forward and horizontally to how to operate two systems of mobile brackets at one time when they work for the same bridge.Third, by means of analysis of its application to engineering practice, the know-how on how to control engineering quality in the process of using the move support system is presented. By engineering quality, here we mean the assembling quality of the move support system, quality of deciduate agent use, quality of reinforced steel bar manipulation, quality of reinforced concrete manipulation and conservation, quality of prestressing force manipulation and quality of mobile brackets movement, observation on construction, construction in winter and rainy days.At last, through the analysis of the application of the move support system to engineering practice, the advantages and disadvantages of the system are listed. Also, on the basis of its disadvantages, the future direction for further development and improvement of the system is proposed accordingly.To summarize, As a new type of technology in construction, the move support system has been more and more widely used and will gain further development and improvement, therefore will make greater contribution to highway construction.
