Eccentric braced steel frames is refined resistant-lateral system based on concentrically braced frames,and is a kind of steel structure of high-rise building with better seismic-resistant and energy-dissipation,When an earthquake is coming,the dissipative link of an eccentrically braced frame becomes plastic earlier. then it consumes the energy of earthquake by its plastid deformantion and accordingly the internal force of other components such as columns and beams and so on will be reduced. so that improve the ductility of the structural system,and the whole structure will be much more safe. So the structural system is very applicable to be adopted in some strong earthquake zones.Many highrise buildings are used the EBSF structure system, in overseas regions, especially in some strong earthquake zones. In order to provide the theoretical bases and practical way for project design, and be helpful to the comprehension of the design procedures for the designers and popularization of this system.The following main section of research work been done:(1)On the base of large quantity of home and alien data, this article introduces the relevant developing situation of EBSF inside and outside china and the working principle and the simplified design method of the structural components.(2)The article further presents the method of seismic analysis and three kinds of solutions to dynamic equation.(3)The typical models of high-rise EBSF structure about different lengths of active beam link, different ratio of span to height, different slenderness ratio and different layouts of brace was set up. Whose seismic properties are analyzed by finite element software sap2000, through analyzing the results of calculation, this article presents the influencing law on seismic behavior.
