Urban water supply network system is one of the important basis constructions in the city, distributing water of good quantity for consumers, also is an important link to protect drinking water quality. The study of changes in the law of the hydraulics and water quality can provide an important basis to the improvement of water quality and establishment of hydraulic and water quality. However, the real water distribution network with deep-lying on the ground floor, its connections is complex, to have an accurate understanding of the water body in which the hydraulic and water quality changes in addition to on-site testing, but also to simulate in the laboratory. Therefore, the establishment of water supply network simulated device in accordance with the scaling criteria is necessary. In this study, the research is going with the experimental simulation platform has been built and the software EPANET 2.0 associated with hydraulic and water quality analysis.the important factors, such as the pH value, water flow rate, the initial chlorine concentration, temperature which affects the attenuation of the residual chlorine in water, about these we collect a large number of measured data.Based on measured data a first-order chlorine decay model is presented to determine the general decay constant k,the bulk decay constant k_b and the wall decay constantk_w, the relationship between the decay constant and each factors is summed up inorder to further explore in future studies under different conditions to determine the corresponding chlorine decay constant, providing the basis for experimental research better for the future network to keep abreast of changes of water quality and improve the water quality of the user.Water supply systems are vulnerable to accidental or deliberate damage of pollution, combined with EPANET 2.0 (Lagrangian) and the experimental data on single-pipe system, multi-positioning of emergency sources of research to explore. Found that when a sudden or a combination of pollution occurs, has its corresponding system-specific sections of the changes of water quality monitoring point and each pollutant (in this study for residual chlorine in water) the concentration of a particular value will be the peak time there tend to be followed by decline and stability. Based on such characteristics can be measured through a large number of simulated data and actual water supply system further unexpected source space and time localization.Affecting the water of harmful substances generated Trihalomethanes major factors, such as chlorine concentration, humic acid, pH value measured for the relevant research and summarize the relevant law. In accordance with these laws water supply network's water quality control measures are proposed to reduce the formation of trihalomethanes and improve water quality in pipe network.
