Ice Water Deposits Highway Embankment Fill Design And Construction Process

The Yaan-Lugu express way is a model road of science and technology by the Ministry of Communications, and also has been classified as high grade project by Department of Communication of Sichuan Province. The fluvioglacial deposits is wide spread along the Yaan-Lugu express way. There is no domestric of build express way on the fluvioglacial deposits subgrade. The paper is on the base of item of Department of Communication of Sichuan Province. The field work time lasts two years ,finishing all works form field investigation,shop experiment,fill design,subgrade construction to guidance. The study as follows:â‘ Study on the basic properties of the fluvioglacial deposits by laboratory test .The results show that road properties of the fluvioglacial deposits is as same as normal coarse grain filler.â‘¡Put forward the steps and contents of fluvioglacial deposits filler designing by according to the characteristics of moraine soil ,and referring to the contents of filler designing of current railway codes.â‘¢Through the test section of the field test, obtained for fluvioglacial depos(?)ts fill subgrade construction technology.The research findings solved part of the difficult problem of project, and provide the reference for the costruction of the Yaan-Lugu expressway.
