The electrochemical chloride extraction is one of rehabilitation method for repairing chloride-contaminated concrete. During the extraction, while the chloride in RC structures is extracted, the alkali around the reinforcing steel bar is increased. Accordingly, the reinforcing steel bar is prevented from getting rusty. The durability and servicing life of the RC structures are heightened.The electrochemical chloride extraction is one new kind rehabilitation method. It is not a long time after its application in projects. Current research focuses on the basic principles of desalting, the desalting efficiency and effectiveness, side effects of desalination and so on. There is little research on the Re-proliferation of chloride after electrochemical chloride extraction and its effect on durability of RC structures. In this paper, at foundation on introduction of the basic principles of desalination technology and the scope of its application, the concrete structure durability after desalting and the assessment model are discussed.The diffusion of chloride in concrete is in line with the Fick's second law. According to Fick's second law, Durability of concrete structures eroded by Chloride ion depends mainly on the concrete surface chloride ion concentration, the diffusion coefficient of concrete, the critical chloride ion concentration. From the proliferation of the basic rules of analysis, the Re-proliferation of chloride ions in concrete structures after ECE still obey the Fick's second law. However, one of the parameters changes with desalting parameters. Therefore, the study of the durability of concrete structures after desalting must take into account of the desalting parameters on the diffusion coefficient of concrete, chloride ion distribution, the critical chloride ion concentration, etc., can then demineralizing concrete durability assessment.In this paper, first of all through the RC cylinder specimen electrochemical desalting experiment was conducted to study the electrochemical desalination process, the concrete structure of the ion migration patterns, analysis of the electrochemical desalination of concrete protection layer after the chloride ions and hydroxide ion distribution changes and their characteristics are discussed demineralizing electrochemical parameters, such as current density, demineralizing cycle and so on desalting efficiency and effectiveness and so on. Determine the parameters under different demineralizing concrete chloride ion distribution and hydrogen ion distribution. And through the ASTM and NEL test, research desalting of chloride ion diffusion coefficient and its changes in the law to determine the demineralization parameters and chloride ion diffusion coefficient changes in the law between.On this basis, the establishment of the durability of concrete structures after desalting evaluation model and analysis methods, and one of the parameters are discussed.Durability of concrete structures after demineralizing model set up, a major concrete structure to determine the operation of the project management skills, the development of the maintenance repair system as well as life-cycle cost analysis of comparative importance.
