Modern project structures are proceeding at the direction of maximization, complication, automation and continuousness. The complilcated environments of service threat functional safety of the structure. To guarantee the safety and avoid disaster,thescholars,engeneers and technicians are paying attention to the research of identification for the damage of structure real-timely,on-line and accurately.Based on the structural dynamic characteristics of the damage identification method is to identify the workload of a small injury, no damage the merits, so as to identify the development of injury in the mainstream direction. With in-depth research, many new mathematical methods were introduced in the damage identification. Based on the structural dynamic characteristics of damage identification is based on the quality of engineering structures, the stiffness will cause changes in the dynamic characteristics (modal frequency, mode shape) changes.In this paper, it simply supported beam based on the calculation of a new structure based on dynamic characteristics of the damage identification method. This method requires only structural damage measured after the first few natural frequencies can be simple and effective to determine the location of structural damage. The root of the project is to avoid the complicated detection process. At the same time, the method uses non-destructive model of frequency and vibration mode, thus increasing the method accuracy, practicality and effectiveness.The method of calculation in the processing, the actual detection of the project was carried out to reflect on practical experience, knowledge to gain experience. Of experience in the use of simulation and then verified knowledge. Finally, the use of vague knowledge of these experiences into the scientific computing means of calculation, the formation of a new structural damage identification method.This paper presents the use of the new method of simply supported beam of a single injury case to verify the simulation. Simulation results show that the method is simple and effective, and highly practical. The method of follow-up study is not only conducive to other forms of structural damage identification method can also be applied as a reference for engineering practice.
