In order to meet the development of rail transport, long-span railway bridge have made considerable progress in the span, structure, form, engineering materials, construction technology and technical equipment. Bridge load test, as an important means of inspecting the structural characteristics of bridge and testing whether the various states of the bridge meet the design standards, can provide a reference for the design and project acceptance. So it is an important part of bridge construction. In this paper, in the background of a dynamic and static performance test into the Han River Bridge of the old mouth, major work done are as follows:1) The development of test methods and theoretical analysis principles of dynamic and static were expounded and analyzed.2) According to the corresponding test theory and finite element theory, a full-bridge simulation model was established using Midas/civil, a large-scale finite element analysis software. And then dynamic and static performance of the bridge was analyzed, which laid theoretical foundation for actual experimental work.3) Static performance of the bridge was analyzed and tested. According to the factors which affect the test and the main purpose of the structural characteristics of the bridge, adopting the corresponding analysis model, three test conditions was selected, though testing the deformation, stress, beam angle of the critical various sections under the action of the greatest loading, made a corresponding analysis of the static performance of the bridge.4) Dynamic performance of the bridge was analyzed and tested. Through the test of dynamic response of the bridge and vibration characteristics of the structure, the bridge dynamic performance was analyzed. In the test of structural dynamic response, using "flatbed" and "stand-alone front" of the two moving vehicles,20-70km/h at different speeds of the power load were carried out to determine the dynamic response of the corresponding measurement points in the pier top and cross; in the test of vibration characteristics, two testing methods, "free vibration" and "environmental random vibration", were used comparatively to measure the dynamic response of the corresponding measuring point.5) The various aspects of analysis and research were summarized. The research results provide a reference for similar projects and reference data for the bridge design and load test specifications.
