At present, the solving problem to the foundation ultimate bearing capacity of the shallow circular foundation usually adopted to the bearing capacity factor of strip foundation which multiplied with correction coefficient. And the solving problem to the foundation ultimate bearing capacity of the strip foundation belonged to pland strain problem, which didn't existed the spatial three-dimensional effect. In the theory, the solving problem to the foundation ultimate bearing capacity of the shallow circular foundation could adopted to the limit equilibrium condition,but its solution of equation was a group of nonlinear partial differential equation which could got the numerical solution, not the analytical solution. Because of that, it didn't have the uniform theoretical calculation formula.The solving problem to the foundation ultimate bearing capacity of the shallow circular foundation belonged to the space axisymmetric problem. Some scholars neglected the circumferential stress of the research on the axisymmetric problem, it videliceted the lateral earth pressure. Absolutely, then it existed the defects of the stress mechanism imperfect. The paper got the foundation ultimate bearing capacity factor of the shallow circular foundation through introducing static earth pressure to simulate the lateral earth pressure which was based on the theory of ultimate equilibrium. It decreased the foundation ultimate bearing capacity because of the existance of later earth pressure,and the result was smaller than the measured values, Vesic values,Terzaghi values and Hansen values by comparing and analyzing with them.Under the influencing factors of base width, cohesion, friction angle, bulk modulus and shear modulus, the paper made the simulating analysis for the solution to the foundation ultimate bearing capacity of the shallow circular foundation by using the FLAC-2D numerical software. The result showed that the solution of the foundation ultimate bearing capacity was anastomosed with the simulating value. The paper's result was provided with considerable creditability, accordingly, this article further verified that the solution was feasible.The production of this dissertation puts forward a new method for building foundation design. And the bearing capacity factors chart acquired by this new method could be the technical base of the design of practical engineering.
