The diversity of regional architectural form, not only meets the development trend of the diversified of contemporary world culture, but also meets the requirements of sustainable development of contemporary architecture. Although the form of regional architectural is diversified, but the creative method can be concluded,summarized and studied to use, therefore its study will become more meaningful.Currently many theory and practice are still limited to "explain the concept of regional architectural" and "forms of representation", always stay in the "like", instead of "what should be", "how to do it". So the way to regional architectural research gets more and more narrow and hard to . break. In fact, the regional architecture can use some of the advantages of globalization, such as advanced technology, new materials and other elements to mediate regional architecture itself and its shortages, even the drawbacks. Therefore, this article considers that it should explore from the regional nature of the architecture, from the creation of the methodology, in order to find a specified path for the development of the regional architecture.The paper combines the theory, case studies and examples of the regional architecture to research the creative methods of regional architecture. Though a lot of the regional architecture theoretical research, article thinks that regional architecture and regional environment are the part of the overall relationship, studying the regional architecture must proceed from the overall regional environment. This text also integrates a series of domestic and foreign local building case, analyze the characteristics of the regional architecture, and summarized a series of regional architecture of the creative method, in conjunction with their construction project design-Huaihua China Power Authority office, also thinking how to make the region architecture developed healthy, how to combine the theory and practice.Through this research, we can reveal the essence of regional architecture, which is that regional architecture is "eternal rebel", rebel all the mainstream culture and international style. Although the creation of regional architecture has many ways, but in different times, also have mainstream design methods, such as in the 18/19 century, the architects mainly use abstract methods to create regional architecture. Through the research of the development of regional architectural history and 50 domestic regional architecture cases, we can conclude that the symbol of variation, retention, repair and pasting five creative methods.This paper is divided into six parts: The first part is the article's introduction, covering the background, purpose, meaning, contents and methods;The second part describes the development of regional architectural history and to conduct its review;The third section analyzes the impact of geographical factors in building and summary of their performance characteristics;The fourth part on a series of examples of regional architecture, summarizes the local architectural design approach;Part five of the Chinese electric power office combined with Huaihua project design, to explore how the local architectural design theory and practice.The last part of the paper summarized and reviewed all the cases, and concluded 5 regional architectural ways-the symbol of variation, retention, repair and paste, used the methods in the actual case, which is called combine the theory and practice. Through this series of theoretical study and practical creativity, triggering a series of thinking, this paper think that regional architecture is not a class of architectural style, but an ancient repeatedly against international creative thought, which is worthy to study,explore and inherit the methods. We can't simply imitate and copy the traditional regional architecture, can't simply vernacular architecture criticism, on the form of tables to pursue, it is anachronistic. Hong Kong architect Mr. Zhong Huanan has written a book, called "Copy and exceed", his meaning is clear, it doesn't matter to copy, but must be over, it is meaningful. This article also believe that after a short period of imitation and plagiarism, we will embark a way that unique regional modern architecture. This is a new way which is combine the world of modern architecture and the local traditional architecture, this is the new China Regional Architecture.
