With the rapid development of the rail traffic in China and international rail traffic construction market having been gradually explored, the method of long rail laying with laying railway efficiency and smoothness was received increasingly attention by civil rail laying departments. The long track construction machine is a key engineering machine in this type of the railway construction. According to our country national conditions and several existing track-laying machine's characteristics, the mainly scheme of new long track construction machine was proposed. Paper provided main structure and performance parameter of new long track construction machine, the machine's advance and innovative is also introduced. The main content of this paper is the hydraulic system of the machine running department, the research of the control system and the simulation of the running hydraulic control system.According to the actual engineering requirements, the design of Hydraulic system which is based on the basic structure and principles was begun with the hydraulic system of the crawler running and the bogie running. This hydraulic system is used with closed loop mode. Pump selected speed-mechanical control method control mode. After, according to the data obtained from the analysis of working conditions, the design calculated the system working pressure, flow and system of power. According to the conventional formula of the hydraulic system calculation, the design made the selection and calculation of pumps and motors.The emphases of the running hydraulic system in track-laying machine are the constant speed control and running synchronization control. First, according to the requirements in the running control, the design determined the overall control block diagram. Second, Having analyzed the closed-loop control of constant speed on the running system, the design derived mathematical models and formulas and carried out data validation; in the same way, as to the track and bogie running synchronization control, the design analyzed and compared three kinds of control schemes, they are open-loop control, follow up close-loop control, and together adjust close-loop control.In the base on the hydraulic system design, the AMESim simulation software was used to establish a simulation model of track-laying machine running hydraulic drive system. And, in the proceeding of the simulation, the design studied the load step and sinusoidal response of the hydraulic system performance, focusing on simulation results show that the design of track-laying machine hydraulic system of moving can be applied in the different work conditions. Through comparing the open-loop speed control scheme with the close-loop speed control program in Simulation, the close-loop speed control in the simulation reached the design requirements, to ensure track-laying machine constant speed and their wheels do not slip.At the end of the paper, the control technology of new long track construction machine's advance system was summarized, proposed some problem remaining to solve further and imaginations that continue to study.
