Shallow foundation is the most common foundation form o in industrial &civil construction, and the strength and deformation of shallow foundation is one of the important contents of engineering and foundation soil mechanics. In the loess area, the bearing of shallow foundation with plaster pad for most of the Lime-soil cushion. Shallow foundation under vertical structural load and level seismic load,settlement of shallow foundation in and vertical structure load under the function of the settlement, the settlement of plaster pad under seismic load,these problems have not been researched. This article mainly aims at this problems.This paper will use this software to study the stress and settlement of shallow foundation under the vertical structural loads,and the stress and deformities of shallow foundation under the vertical structural loads and the level seismic load.According to the engineering examples in the field, this paper will consider the stress and settlement mainly from the two aspects of shallow foundation under the vertical structural loads,shallow foundation under the level seismic loads and vertical structural loads. The results showed that:(1)The settlement of shallow foundation deformation under earthquake load and under the action of vertical structural load in that case of this test at least about 37.3%increased. The settlement must be considered. When the earthquake working, the design capacity requirements need to be enlarged using magnification factor to mangnify based on this instance.(2)The settlement curve is quite similar to distribution when the footings under structural load and horizontal seismic load and only under the action of vertical load. when tested, each layer of concrete stress and settlement values depend on the nature of the soil material, the ove trend is decreasing with the depth increasing. The settlement and stress distribution center symmetry when only the vertical structure loads acting, extremely point in the middle. When the horizontal seismic load and vertical structure load under the acts, the stress and settlement of shallow foundation vertical structure is larger than just the vertical structure loads, and the extreme points of each layer of the has different shift.
