Slope stability analysis is the core of slope engineering research. For the complex geological conditions for the terrain slope, it becomes a major engineering challenge to accurately analysis slope deformation mechanism and determine the stability of the slope. Furthermore, human construction activities will inevitably disturb slope engineering geological environment, and affect the slope stability, which even cause landslides. Studies on slope deformation mechanism and stability and the right reinforcement way have important practical significance.Some reservoir dam spillway slope is composed of argillaceous rocks and other soft rocks,the developing weak Interlayer, leads to complicated engineering geological conditions. Because of the side slope rock mass affected by unloading and weathering, and cutting of joints and cracks, the whole mechanical properties is poor. There appears varying degrees deformation in different parts of the deformation after slope excavation, even cause landslide as a whole.Against the practical engineering problem, this paper provides a comprehensive analysis on the slope engineering geological conditions, structural characteristics and deformation characteristics of rock, which based on a full on-site investigation to the complex geological conditions slope. At the same time, the paper also analyzes the mechanism of slope deformation and failure from the slope deformation mode under the geological conditions. On this basis, the establishment of the geological conceptual model, and using three-dimensional analysis of finite difference method to analysis the slope stability based on stress and deformation theory, results of deformation and failure derived from the numerical simulation analyses is coincident with the slope actual situation.Studies shows:deformation and failure of the complex geological conditions of slope are presented in the form of portfolio characteristics.In order to more accurate analysis of the slope stability, it is key to fully research engineering geological conditions and deformation mechanisms. In this paper, the technical route for the complex geological conditions of slope has a more realistic reference to similar slope research.
