In this thesis ,a series of experiment are carried out to research the theory of Sr adsorption and migration in loess-quartz mixed medium. the results are essential to the superficial-stratum disposing of VLLW.Batch experiment is conducted to research the factors which have impacts on the adsorption of Sr in loess-quartz mixed media. Before reaching the adsorption equilibrium condition, the adsorption amount of per kilogram mixed media is increasing with contact time. Adsorption amount of per kilogram mixed media is increased from 79.32mg/kg to 1578.6mg/kg with initial Sr2+ concentration from 0.0001mol/l to 0.003mol/l, but the adsorption efficiency is decreased from 90.5% to 59.6%.when the PH value is increased from 4 to 10, Adsorption amount of per kilogram mixed media is increased from 568.2 mg/kg to 730.2mg/kg. Under Ca and Ba competive adsorption condition ,the adsorption amount of per kilogram mixed media is decreased from 79.32mg/kg ~ 1578.6mg/kg to 76.82 mg/kg~1288.6 mg/kg and 78.42 mg/kg~1441.4mg/kg respectively. for different solid-liquid ratio ,experiment shows that the adsorption amount for per kilogram mixed media is increased from 79.32mg/kg~1578.6mg/kg to 122.84mg/kg ~ 1926.4mg/kg with the increasing solid-liquid ratio ,but the adsorption efficiency is decreasing . We use two different adsorption model to fit the experiment data: Henry model and frenudlich model ,the result shows that frenudlich model match the data well.For column test , Br is used as tracer to calculate the velocity of water flow then retardation coefficient is determined by V . the Rd obtained from batch experiment is larger than Rd determined by column test.According to the column test of loess and loess-quartz mixed media of different proportion, we studied the wetted front,infiltration and infiltration rate of different media. wetted front of different media moving through the soil against time is fitted using the exponentiation function, and the related coefficients are all above 0.99. the infiltration of different media along with time comply with the kosdtiaov model well and the related coefficients are all above 0.97.by comparison ,we come to the conclusion that with the increasing proportion of quartz ,the wetted front moves faster ,the infiltration coefficient is larger ,so does the infiltration rate。...
