In order to find out that under the treatment of main pesticides, the susceptibility and resistent level of Chilo supprressalis (Walker).This paper provide a overview of acquisition and breeding populations of Chilo supprressalis (Walker) in Hunan province.Four years old Chilo supprressalis (Walker) were the objective,and four kinds of pesticide was used in the process of the insecticide resistant monitoring.The results of insecticide resistant monitoring showed that all populations of Chilo supprressalis (Walker), collected from different regions in Hunan province, have possessed the high level resistance (>40-fold) to monosultap and triazophos. Very high level of resistance to these two insecticides (>160-fold) were detected in Anxiang, Shimen, Taoyuan and Taojiang populations which were collected from the north of Hunan province. Low level of resistance to fipronil (6.5-fold) was detected in Anxiang population, and other populations measured were still susceptible (<5~fold) to this kind of insecticide. Moreover, no apparent resistance to abamectin has been detected after the examinine.The results of insecticide resistant monitoring also showed that all populations of Chilo supprressalis (Walker), in the process of pesticide treatment,chemical prevention is the most important measure of intergrated prevention measures,it can't be replaced by other prevention measures.On the current situation,the key of resistant treatment of Chilo supprressalis (Walker) in rice is rational administration of pesticide.
