The paper is based on national and intemational research on film hole irrigation theory andtechnology, combines with natural condition of Shanbei and film hole irrigaion characteristic,analyzes film hole infiltration characteristic and film hole irrigation characteristic and surface flowmotion process and irrigation technology parameters.1. The paper researches single point source infiltration law and analyzes the relation betweenfilm hole infiltraion and vertical infiltration, founds the contact of film hole infiltration parametersand vertical infiltration parameters and film hole diameter. So film hole infiltration parameters can bedatermined according to vertical infiltration parameters.2. The paper researches multiple point soutte infiltration law. While film hole diameter isconstant, less the space between film hole, earier the film hole iaterfere infiltration time. Whileinfiltration time is constant, less the space between film bole, less the infiltration volume.3. The paper presents a method of determining single point source infiltration parameters underadequate water supply with water flow advance and depth data in film hole irrigation. The examplecalculation shows that the new method is simple and efficient.4. The paper analyses film hole irrigation characteristic and water flow advance and regressionprocess based on field experimental data. Film hole irrigation has the advantage of saving watr, andthe now advance is more rapid and irrigaion quality is better than border irrigation. The advance nowvelocity of film hole irrigation increases while discharge per unit width increases, and reduces whileholed ratio increases. The advance curve of film hole irrigation accords with power function and theregression curve accords with quadratic function.5. The paper researches the effect of irrigation technology parameters on irrigating water quota.When discharge per unit width is less, irrigating water quota reduces while it increases. Whendischarge per unit width is bigger than a certain value, irrigating waer quota increases While itincreases. Irrigating water quota increases while holed ratio increases, when the other conditions areinvariable.6. The paper combines zero-inertia model with opimal method, and suggests the optimal modelof determining synthesis roughness coefficient in film hole irrigation. The example calculationindicates that the new method is effective.These research results have laid a foundation for popuIarization and application of the theory andtechnology of film hole irrigation.
